The showroom at our Auckland factory/head office has been very "functional" for a wee while now - most often overrun with samples, prototypes of new products, or a range of luminaires and tools as we prepare for site trials and installations.
That has all changed in the past few weeks. Thanks to some divine inspiration from Dean and Maryanka and a whole lot of hard work by the entire Modus team. We have now got a fantastic rennovated space in which to work - complete with a disco inspired LED wall!
What else is there to do with such a brilliant space but to hold a bit of a "do" - Tuesday night at Modus had a Belgian theme with a selection of the fantastic creations by our favourite Belgians Modular Lighting Instruments on display, a bunch of great people, excellent food and plenty of Belgian beer to kick the celebration of right.
Cheers to all of those who made it along for what turned out to be a fantastic night.
Special thanks to Randall who showed off some hidden talents as he stepped up for DJ duties, Dudley from JSB for his well researched yet very bizzare facts about Belguim, and to Bart from The Ponsonby for cooking up all the scrummy mussels and frites! And of course a huge "dank je wel" to Dean and Maryanka for all their hard work getting the showroom together and looking amazing!.
If you do happen to be in the glamourous environs of Mt Albert any time be sure to pop in and check out the showroom, try one of Dean's famous flat whites and meet the Modus team. Flick an email through to sales@moduslighting.co.nz to set up a date and time!
